We made this 8' film in a day and a half, and so we had to keep the team small and moveable.

The sets on day 1 : Sacré Coeur, Place Dalida at Montmartre, Eiffel Tower,  Invalides, and the gig venue : Les Trois Arts..

Sets on day 2 : Gare de Lyon, Streets of Paris (Hotel),  Hotel bedrooms,  Robert's van, Roberts' office and his staircase...In 6 hours.

Without the amazing crew, none of it would have been able to happen!

But during the preparation I decided to make it without any location sound, which meant I could direct the actors easier without worrying about my voice on the dailies. Originally it was supposed to be like a silent movie, but after long discussions with my editor, Stephanie Pelissier, I decided to take on the job of completely recreating the location sound, with out-takes, ADR, and lots of foley and sound efffects.

The music needed to be narrative and work towards the end in a musical and narrative résumé, so Christophe Héral totally fulfuils that role with brio and perfect comprehension of what the film was portraying. His composition integrates the theme of 'Drake Man', which is the piece the band plays at the end of the movie.
